Reverie

Standing at 25 metres tall, Reverie is one of the tallest murals in the UK and is currently the tallest mural in Sheffield. Commissioned by Visit Sheffield for the

Festival of the Outdoors, the mural draws inspiration from Sheffield’s rich local biodiversity, particularly the wildlife and ecosystems found within the city’s canal networks.

The composition is shaped by the architecture of the building itself. Reverie invites visitors to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the nature that exists just beyond your walls, a reminder of the the environment found right on Sheffield’s doorstep.

Since its completion, Reverie has received international recognition, winning Best Street Art (June 2024) from Street Art Cities and later being voted #2 Best Mural in the World (2024) in the Street Art Awards.
